New LiFT ProgramPort Angeles, Wash. - Planned Parenthood for Clallam County is partnering with Port Angeles School District to bring the Linking Families and Teens (LiFT) program to the community of Port Angeles.

Linking Families and Teens is a program offered to help parents and teens talk more effectively, and to help them connect on issues like healthy relationships, decision-making, and sexual health.

LiFT is for teens in grades 9-12 and a close adult in their life who can participate together in the program.  (This can include a parent, guardian, grandparent, aunt, uncle, etc.)

This six-hour program will take place in Port Angeles on Saturday, March 3rd   from 10am-4pm.

Advance sign-up is required online at www.bit.do/LiFTsignup.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as snacks and prizes. The program is free for all participants.

Teen and adults will receive $$ incentives for full completion of the program.

LiFT involves completing surveys to evaluate the program. You may be assigned to the LiFT program or the survey only group.

Since participating in the LiFT program, my son has shown more dedication to the family, and is really making an effort to communicate more with his siblings and parents. ~ Past Port Angeles LiFT participant
