Student Photography Exhibition
Call for Art!

The Pandemic Experiences Project invites Port Angeles High School students to create photographs documenting the pandemic and its impact on all aspects of life. Student photography will be featured in an exhibition at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center in January 2022, and will also be included in a printed booklet.

This project is funded by the Washington State Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts. All current PAHS students are eligible & there is no cost to participate.

This is a great opportunity for students to be a part of a formal art event and to tell their unique stories about this extraordinary moment in their lives.  Photography provides a historical document of recent events and creates a personal narrative of the unique challenges experienced by young people- and their extraordinary resiliency through it all.  The Fine Arts Center is generously hosting our families and community members to celebrate this exhibition in January during the WinterTide Arts festival.  More details to come.
If you are currently a high school student in Port Angeles School District, you may submit your photos in a high resolution jpg format, no later than November 7, 2021 directly to the Submittable porthole at;
or through our project-based google classroom for more directions on how to use submittable and for more background information on this project.
